Sustainability From the Beginning
The Problem:
Of the estimated 8 Million Tons of Plastics in our Oceans, Microplastics, the extremely small particles invisible to the naked eye, are said to make up approximately 1.5 Million tons of debris in our oceans.
35% of all microplastics come from synthetic fibers in the textile industry.
From 2016-2021, we’ve consumed more clothing than 75% more than we did in the entire 20th Century with the average consumer buying 5x more clothing than they did in 1980. Clearly the fast fashion plastic clothing does not hold up to the consumers expectations and does not last more than a season.

We create product from ethically and sustainable fabric sources which create a yield that far surpasses in durability and performance for our clients. Beyond Measure Custom align our values with mills that have enacted methods of producing fibers while aligning with green energy initiatives. By utilizing organic and natural fibers, it creates a feeling of luxury that can be felt immediately when donning our clothing.
Our merino wool primarily used in our suiting are derived from protected pastures where saxxon sheep graze in the wild which creates brighter fleece, high curvature merino wool, natural elasticity to battle wrinkles and, improved performance for travel.

Beyond Measure Custom partners with mills that offer exquisite natural textiles and also prioritize creating a supply chain and product cycle that abides by eco-friendly methodologies. From the way the sheep that are responsibly shorn after being raised on sustainable farms guarantees a level of animal welfare that elicits the healthiest flock for the finest fiber yield.
The weaving and looming process is traditionally very environmentally taxing, but our partners have aligned their business model for a symbiotic relationship between production and green energy initiatives. Using renewable energy creates mechanisms and practices to reduce and purify the water consumed in the process allowing for a eco-conscious method of milling luxury.

Originating from the countryside, English fibers are designed to last through the elements. A more sturdy and dense hand is perfect for classic worsteds, heavy weight flannels, and country thicket-proof tweeds and wide wale corduroy.
The Saxon sheep that supply the wool fibers are raised and protected at sustainable farms that employ environmentally friendly methods to create the finest cloths in the world.

La Vita e Bella! The Italian fibers are crafted from the Biella region, featuring a perfect environment for weaving and finishing worsted wools, beautiful silks and cashmere, and vibrant and soft linen. The patterns considered are often bold and dandy, chic and fashion forward.
By only releasing pure water from their textile creation by implementation of an internal water treatment plant, luxury can be produced without harming the delicate ecosystem that supports the process.
